My name is Suzanne Rampe.
Our family has been welcoming guests
for over 50 years.
It will be our pleasure to provide your family, a place where you will have an opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime.
One year, our family completed a remodeled and renovation on every one of our vacation rentals. Now that the remodel is over, it is time to
enjoy all that has been done.
We will continue to keep up the properties in order to make sure your accommodations are all that you expect them to be.
Many of our guests live far from The Strand Rentals and most have
located us though the internet.
We have come to find that many of our guests often wondered who they were about to meet & this seemed quite reasonable.
So, here is a little history of our family.
Prior to taking over the family business I was a professional Hollywood stuntwoman & Vice President of The Stuntwomen's Association of
Motion Pictures and Film
During my stunt years, I founded
The Women in Film Stunt Committee and started up another
organization called Stunt Contact.
I am pleased to say that those years were a time of wonderful experiences, but I am also glad to have ended my career as a professional stuntwoman
and have now planted my feet firmly on the ground.
Instead of leaping from buildings, racing around in cars and a whole lot more.
I am blessed with a wonderful family. My husband is Slawek Kielbasinski,
& we have two wonderful boys.
This is my husband Slawek Kielbasinski.
I think his story is pretty amazing. He grew up in Poland when it was ruled by Russia. He was raised by one of Poland premiere scientists, his father Janusz Kielbasinski and mother Florentina.
His father had plans of Slawek becoming a mathematician, instead he became a
9 time National Champion & World Champion in Sports Acrobatics.
In the early 80's he defected to Canada.
A country that welcomed him with open arms. He became a Canadian citizen (he has since become a US citizen) and joined the now famous Cirque du Soleil. He performed in their production company and also was a coach in their circus school.
Slawek has been performing ever since. We met in 1994 while he was performing in a show called, "Spellbound". I was working on a film titled, "Showgirls". Spellbound ended up on the Las Vegas Strip for many years. His act was also awarded the, "Best Specialty Act in any Show".
He is currently training our sons in the
sport of acrobatics.
Slawek is our on call manager. He has remodeled all our vacation homes and has done a wonderful job. Although many people want to hire him,
he prefers to keep the work in the family business
and remain close to home.

A Side Note
On Jonnies first day at school, the kids were asked what their parents did for a living. Jonnie said,
"My mom is a stuntwoman and my dad is an acrobat with the circus".
Needless to say, they thought he had a great imagination and
asked us if it were true.
